Here is a simple yet powerful spell to fill yourself with love’s protective light. It shields your heart from negativity—whether it’s harmful emotions from others or darker influences you sense nearby. The materials are easy to find, and the act of speaking aloud your intention shapes the magic as surely as your own breath.

You’ll need:

A clean glass or cup
A jar filled with fresh water
A clear quartz crystal
Your voice, warm and sincere
The index finger of your dominant hand

Follow these steps to weave your spell:

1. Fill your jar gently to the top with water, imagining it gathering your intention.

2. Place the clear quartz crystal at the bottom of the jar. Quartz holds and amplifies energy, much like the heart amplifies love.

3. Dip the tip of your index finger into the water, connecting your body to this element.

4. Speak this prayer with clear feeling and conviction:

"Water of the emotions and love, give me the confidence and the cure. Protect me from damage and evil to come, surround me with your love and your light without end. While I drink in the name of the Lord, our Father in heaven, I ask now, staying away from evil. I want to be touched by the angel of protection, which now keeps me safe from any curse."

5. Pour the water from the jar into your glass.

A spell to awaken passion with water

This spell invites a spark of desire and enchantment, gently stirring the senses and the heart's longing. Traditionally, water has been used as a messenger between worlds — here, it can carry your call for attraction to the one you seek.

Keep in mind, in my experience and the wisdom shared by many practitioners, that this type of spell should be used thoughtfully and with respect for others’ free will. It can kindle passion, but love that lasts needs kindness and mutual care to grow strong.

Water love spells often have a stronger effect on men due to energetic differences, but sensitivity matters more than gender. If the person you are thinking of has a fiery or aggressive mood, it’s better to wait or choose gentler, heart-centered magic.

For this spell, all you need is a glass of water and a pinch of salt. Place the glass near your bed overnight to gather the magic of dreams and night air. When you arise, avoid placing your feet on the ground before completing the ritual. Then, sprinkle salt into the glass while saying:

"I wake up in the morning, to leaving home I do not take the road, but a narrow road. I approach the dark ravine that is far. There is a powerful spirit in that ravine. Spirit, wake up, go to (name of the person to spell). Awaken the passion in him/her, get your body close to mine. When I see him/her again, he/she will want me too. He/she will not be able to live without my body. Let the spirit torture (name of victim) as the water dissolves the salt. My Word is strong."

Complete the spell by spitting three times over your left shoulder to clear any resistance, then drink three small sips from the glass. Finally, gently sprinkle some of the water over your clothes as a symbol of embodying the spell’s energy throughout your day.
