Common mallow is a large, spreading plant with beautiful deep pink flowers that appear from June to October. It can be easily found on roadside verges, along footpaths, and on waste ground.

Marshmallow is used to soften up inflexible mental attitudes, and for those who are hard-hearted and unable to feel their own emotions.
